I offer online therapy to people living in the UK and throughout the world.
During the current COVID-19 situation and the new social distancing measures, I have moved my whole practice online.
Sometimes people wonder if they would be able to build the same kind of relationship with a therapist online. I have lots of experience of working in this way and my answer is a resounding yes.
If you have a quiet, private space to talk and face the screen much as you would if you were sitting opposite me in person, I have found online therapy can be just as fruitful and helpful for people as being in a room together. The research into online therapy bears this out, showing it to be just as effective as other forms of therapy.
Should you have any concerns about platforms for working online, maybe you aren't used to using Skype or Zoom etc, I can send you a link and instructions to quickly and painlessly set this up. If you are currently inside more and often surrounded by people, I have a bit of flexibility re spaces and schedule, so we could look at finding a time where you are most likely to be able to talk alone and uninterrupted.
If you have any questions about online work, please get in touch by email or phone, or if you want to set up a session to try it out with no obligation to continue, that's fine too.
